Police in Waltham Forest have released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with theft of a mobile phone.
The man pictured entered the Grace and Albert Cookshop in Hale End Road, Highams Park, at 4pm on April 2 and stole a staff member's smartphone from behind the counter.
The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture to identify potential criminals of unsolved crimes in the borough.
Suspect 145595 is described as white Asian, with short dark hair, of medium build, and wearing a black shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact detective constable Hickford of Waltham Forest CID on 101 quoting the reference number 145595, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
