Young children have learned about creepy crawlies during their school holidays.

Children from five to 11 collected insects and bugs from under logs and stones and in trees and grasses in Epping Forest.

The Forest Families: Minibeasts event was held at Epping Forest Field Studies Centre in Pauls Nursery Road, High Beach on Wednesday.
