Police in Waltham Forest have released a CCTV image of a suspected attacker. 

Suspect 145189 is wanted in connection with grevious bodily harm (GBH) following an 'altercaton' in which a 21 year-old man was hit over the head with a glass bottle in Walthamstow.

The incident described by police as an unprovoked attack happened in Wood Street on March 15 at around 4:20pm.

Ambulance services were called to the scene and the victim was taken to an east London hospital where he was treeated for a head wound.

The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture to identify potential criminals of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Suspect 4905398/14 is dark-skinned, of medium build, and was wearing a distinctive black and beanie white at the time of the incident.
