Experts will available to offer advice on dealing with the abuse of vulnerable people.

The free event will take place on April 23 at Community Care Advice Centre, in Aldborough Road North, Barkingside, between 10am and 4pm.

Representatives from Age UK, VoiceAbility, and Redbridge Carers Support Service will attend.

Figures released by Redbridge Police show there was a 24.5 per cent rise in reported domestic abuse in the 12 months up to March this year.

What a ridiculous and useless statistic, which coming from the kings of massaging figures cannot be believed anyway.

If there was one case of domestic abuse and you had a 100% reduction that would mean no cases.
