Police are hunting a man who head-butted a train passenger while claiming to have a knife.
British Transport Police said the unprovoked assault happened at Ilford station at around 6.45pm on March 16.
The 46-year-old was standing on his own waiting for a train on platform three when he was approached by a man who started shouting at him.
He said he had a knife before grabbing the 46-year-old and head-butting him in the face, leaving him requiring hospital treatment for facial swelling.
