A man is in hospital after a motorcycle and a car collided.
The 38-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with head and arm injuries after the crash invloving a Suzuki Grand Vitara at the junction of Manor Road and Manford Way, in Chigwell, at 11.15am today.
Roads around the scene were closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
A police spokesman said the road is likely to remain closed for some time while the situation is dealt with and police carry out initial investigations.
