A 21-year-old has raised nearly £3,000 for a disabled charity by completing the London Marathon.

Emma Harman, of Mornington Road, Woodford Green, has so far raised £2,360 for Woodford Bridge charity East London Handicapped Adventure Playground (ELHAP), where she has previously volunteered.

She said: “This charity has a very special place in my heart, being a carer for disabled children for many years.

"I know the enormous difference it makes, not only on the young adults and children's lives who spend any time there but also for the families who receive the well needed respite and support."
