Emergency water works in a Woodford Green road are expected to continue for at least a week.

Temporary traffic lights are in place on the High Road at Churchfields as crews carry out repairs.

A Thames Water spokeswoman today told the Guardian that repair work would begin when the source of a leak is located.

“We have a leak on one of our clean water pipes and we’re working in the road to find its source,” the spokeswoman said.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused and we’re working as fast as possible to find this leaky pipe and get it repaired.”

Yeah, really quickly. It's only been 3 months, and 3 separate dig-ups and re-tarmacings.
