A man has been robbed of his phone while walking down the street.

A 23-year-old Chigwell man was robbed of his White Samsung Galaxy after three men in a black Audi A3 pulled up alongside him in Chigwell Road.

The first suspect got out of the car and asked him what he had on him and then started feeling the man’s jacket pockets.

While this was happening a second man got out of the car and took the phone.

Both men then returned to the car which drove away.

All three men are described as Asian aged between 17 and 22 and the driver had a shaven head and a chin strap beard.

Essex Police have been liaising with the Metropolitan Police and are now appealing to the public.

Anyone with information about the incident at around 8.40pm on March 27 can call Pc Peter Cran at Loughton CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
