Two people were freed after becoming trapped in their vehicles following crash on the M25.

Firefighters were called to the section of the road in Loughton, between junctions 28 and 29, just before 2pm yesterday.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision.

Emergency crews freed those trapped around 30 minutes later.

The Guardian is waiting for an update on their condition.
