A Mod band due to headline Silsden’s Summer Jam is to embark on an acoustic tour.

From The Jam will play the open-air music festival in Silsden over the August bank holiday weekend.

The band features former The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and, with Russell Hastings on vocals, performs the band’s many hits.

In advance of the Summer Jam tour the band will play venues including Victoria Hall, Settle, on July 12.

Bruce and Russell will perform songs from The Jam’s extensive back catalogue, along with tracks songs from Bruce’s new album Back In The Room.

They will also answer questions from the audience.

With 18 UK Top 40 singles The Jam were the sound of the British youth in the late 70s.

The gig will include classics such as Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, Going Underground, Town Called Malice and The Modern World.
