A man has today pleaded not guilty to murdering his girlfriend whilst on trial at the Old Bailey.
David Gikawa, 39, is charged with stabbing 29 year-old Linah Keza to death at the home they shared in Kind Edward Road, Leyton, on July 31.
It is alleged Gikawa killed the model and former Miss Africa contestant in front of her three-year old daughter.
Miss Keza, was found with stab wounds to the chest and pronounced dead at the scene at around 4.30am.
Gikawa, a Ugandan national with indefinite leave to remain in the UK, entered a plea of not guilty at the beginning of the trial today at the Old Bailey.
He has now been remanded in custody and the trial has been adjourned until Thursday.
