Police have charged two teenagers with grievous bodily harm following an attack on a schoolboy.

Nathan Inness-Harrero was attacked as he walked in Albany Court, Epping, near his home in Lincoln Fields, on January 15 at around 7pm.

He was 15 at the time.

Following the attack Nathan underwent emergency surgery to prevent damage to his eyesight.

Police charged two 15-year-old boys over the weekend having arrested them on suspicion of GBH and bailed them in January.

They have now been bailed until May 9 when they are due to appear at Chelmsford Youth Court.
