A businesswoman hopes to make it to the final of a business competition at Richard Branson’s house.

Clayhall resident, Sabrina Hamilton, is through to the semi-finals of the Virgin Media Pioneers Pitch to Rich competition, beating hundreds of others.

Her business, Packed Munches, delivers a package of eight British products including crisps, biscuits and tea to people abroad each month.

Miss Hamilton currently works fulltime at Easy Art, but wants to use the competition as a springboard to be able to work as her own boss for Packed Munches.

The 27-year-old will compete with nine others, with six finalists being invited to pitch their businesses to Richard Branson himself at his house in Oxfordshire next month.

She said: “It was so unexpected and happened so quickly. I had to talk about our business in 80 words and it is crazy we were chosen out of so many. It took a long time to sink in but I am excited now to have this chance to meet Richard Branson.

“The business is about reminding people of home when they are living or working abroad. My friend was studying abroad and I sent her a package of British food. She loved it and it is about sending people food that they can't buy in these countries.

"I am now looking to do it fulltime and the success we are having in this competition should help out. It is down to the public vote so it would be great if everyone can help me get a step closer to the final!”
