Art, clothes, vintage home ware and freshly baked cakes will be on sale this weekend at Eat or Heat’s spring fair.

At the same time people will be running around William Morris ward to collect cash for the foodbank and Community Kitchen which teaches people to cook on a budget.

The event will take place on Saturday at St Mary’s Welcome Centre in Church Road, Walthamstow between 12pm and 8pm.

Foodbank co-founder Gary Nash said that the number of people using the foodbank is rising very single week.

Tickets cost £1 for adults and kids are free with a tin of food.

Anyone who wishes to join the fun run can meet at the Spring Café, 209 Forest Road at 10.30am or email Stuart at
