Witnesses sought for Waltham Abbey farm theft

East London and West Essex Guardian Series: Theives sought for Waltham Abbey farm theft Theives sought for Waltham Abbey farm theft

Epping police are appealing for witnesses to a theft at a farm in Waltham Abbey.

CCTV footage filmed on April 12 at around 3pm shows a white transit van parked outside Glendales farm, in Crooked Mile, opposite the Wheatsheaf pub.

One man, wearing a high-visibility jacket, left the vehicle, cut locks on the farm gates and drove into the yard. The gang then stole various farm tools from a container within the yard.

Poor quality footage means the faces of the suspects and van registration cannot be identified.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or driver is asked to contact Pc Mike King at Loughton Neighbourhood Crime team on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
