Two children and a woman were hospitalised after a rush hour collision between a lorry and car.
London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 7.40am and they rushed the girls, aged 10 and 12, to hospital with minor injuries along with a 34-year-old woman at Woodford New Road, Woodford Green.
Part of the road was closed following the accident, leading to traffic jams near the junction with Empress Avenue.
Two ambulances rushed the children and woman to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone, while the lorry driver was not hurt.
