The Pocket Physio app won the 2012 medical technology award
An award winning mobile app for patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgery is to be available at a treatment centre.
Patients at the North East London NHS Treatment Centre in Barley Lane, Ilford, will benefit from the Pocket Physio app, which offers advice on how to recover from surgeries such as hip and knee replacements.
The app won the 2012 Laing & Buisson Health care award for best use of technology in healthcare.
