Police in Waltham Forest have released two CCTV images of suspected thieves.

Suspects 146287 and 146288 are both wanted in connection of stealing a wallet from a member of the public inside the Poundland store in Selbourne Walk, Walthamstow, on March 25 at just before 1pm.

The wallet contained cash, bank cards, and a driving licence.

One woman is described as having ash blonde hair and wearing a Marie Curie badge, while the other female suspect was wearing a purple striped head scarf.

Both ladies were dressed in black and wearing long puffer jackets at the time of the incident.

The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Anyone with information should contact Waltham Forest police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

They are inventing a CCTV camera in Japan that not only will show suspects faces but will print out their home address which will be an innovation.

What's the point? - According to Police stats most cashpoint, card and pickpocketing crimes are carried out by Romanians and Albanians. They do not register an address!
