An archaeological group is holding a lecture on ice age art, led by a British Museum curator and expert on human archaeology and evolution.
The West Essex Archaeological Group is hosting an event led by Jill Cook, curator of European prehistory at the British Museum, on May 12 at Woodford County High School, High Road, Woodford Green.
Ice Age Art: the Shock of the Old will look at 40,000 to 10,000-year-old art and the evolution of humans in this period as they migrated to Europe.
The free event starts at 7.45pm.
