Motorists are being asked to avoid a stretch of the A406 following a two-vehicle collision.

Just before 10am, a van and car collided westbound on the North Circular between the M11 junction 4 and the A104 Woodford New Road, leading up to the Waterworks Corner roundabout.

Lanes three, four and five are closed westbound and there is queueing traffic for two miles, causing congestion to the A12 Eastern Avenue and Redbridge Roundabout.
