A man who admitted harassing a woman with repeated texts and phone calls will be sentenced today.

Vincent Burke, 26, of Mornington Road in Chingford, pleaded guilty to harassment without violence on April 1.

The charge included sending a woman in Waltham Abbey 60 messages and calling her 39 times between March 22 and 29.

In that time Burke also left four voicemails on the woman’s phone.

He will be sentenced later today at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
