MP John Cryer officially opened a new and improved post office on Friday.

The modernised Harrow Green site will benefit from longer opening hours , four screened counters and updated technology.

John Cryer MP said: "I welcomed the news that Harrow Green Post Office was to be modernised.

"The Post Office is vital to the community around Harrow Green and I'm sure the new improved office, and the longer opening hours, will be warmly welcomed by all of my constituents."

The Harrow Green Post Office is open from 8.30am until 5.30pm on Monday and Tuesday, 9am until 7.30pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and 9am until 5.30pm on Thursday.

Post Office operator Harjit Rooprai said he was ‘delighted’ with the improvements and thanked the community for their continued support.
