Six teenagers have been arrested following a fight which led to a boy being stabbed in the neck.

The brawl happened outside Sainsburys in Walthamstow Avenue, Chingford, on Thursday at around 5:15pm.

Police and the ambulance services were called to the scene following reports of a stabbing and a fight. 

A 15-year-old boy suffering stab wounds to the neck was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital along with another 15-year-old boy with cuts to his chin.

Both teenagers have since been discharged from hospital and arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm (GBH) with intent. 

Two 14-year-old boys and a 16 year-old boy were arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH with intent. 

Police arrested a 14 year-old boy in relation to the incident on Saturday on suspicion of GBH with intent.

All six teenagers have since been bailed to return to an east London police station later this month.

Officers from Waltham Forest CID are investigating the fight and enquiries continue.
