Preparations are being made for a charity cycling event along part of the Tour de France route the day before the race visits Epping Forest.
Various routes starting from North Weald Airfield have been drawn up for the event on July 6, which will raise money for Ongar and District Healthcare League of Friends and Voluntary Action Epping Forest.
The League of Friends raises money locally to provide equipment for the two doctors' surgeries in Ongar as well as the local District Nurses.
Voluntary Action Epping Forest will use the funds raised towards the purchase of a 17-seater minibus with wheelchair access.
Registration costs £15 per adult and £8 per child including a commemorative t-shirt.
Online registration for the event opens on Monday here.
