A campaign group calling for services at Whipps Cross University Hospital to be protected is to hold a public meeting.
Waltham Forest Save our NHS will meet on May 13 at the Quaker Meeting House in Walthamstow from 7.30pm.
Speakers will include doctors, consultants and frontline staff at Whipps Cross.
All residents and hospital users are welcome to attend.
Speaking on behalf of the campaign, former nurse Jim Fagan said: “We are worried that budget cuts and the drive towards privatisation mean we could lose services essential to our local hospital.
“We have invited speakers from the successful campaign at Lewisham Hospital so that we can learn from them.”
