A man charged with sending bomb hoaxes to two women has been released on conditional bail.

Stuart Muzwidzwa, 35, of Howard Road in Ilford, is set for trial by jury at Chelmsford Crown Court on July 21.

While on bail he is not allowed to enter the Essex Police district unless en route to a n Essex Police station, court or pre-arranged appointment with solicitors.

He is also not permitted to contact any member of staff at Sherell House car home in Fencepiece Road, Chigwell.

Mr Muzwidzwa is accused of sending bomb threats via text message to two different women in Chigwell on April 19 and 20 last year.

On April 19, 2013, he is alleged to have sent messages which read: “"LOCKER ROOM LOCATION BOMB"

"MENS LOCKER ROOM BOMB"

"BOMB THE S*** OUT THIS IS MY LAST PLAN"

On April 20, 2013, he is alleged to have sent a text message which read: "LOCKER ROOM LAST LOCKER SECOND FROM BOTTOM... CLUE"

He is also accused of sending threatening text messages to the first woman between April 6 and 26 last year and to the second woman between April 19 and 21, 2013.

A further two women are alleged to have been sent threatening texts by Mr Muzwidzwa in Chigwell between April 2 and 27 last year.

He is also accused of the theft, by finding, of a scarf belonging to the first woman between January 10 and 12 last year in Ilford.

No plea was entered.
