Another three men charged with the double murder of two friends in Leytonstone have been remanded in custody after appearing in court yesterday.

Mohamed Tiet, 18, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, all from east London, are accused of killing Aaron Carriere, 21, and Josiah Manful, 20, in Montague Road, Leytonstone, on March 1.

Two of the accused cannot be identified due to their age and police have refused to release addresses.

All three appeared at Barkingside Magistrates Court yesterday and will next appear at the Old Bailey on May 6. Another 18-year-old remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder.

In total, 19 people have been arrested in connection with the killings and six have been charged.

Wail-Suleiman Alawi, 23, from east London, Devonte Campbell, 19, of no fixed address, and Casey Jones, 18, of Walthamstow, have been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on May 28 charged with the double murder.

The remaining 12 people arrested have been re-bailed until the end of the month.
