Courses can be accessed on library computers or at home
Library users wanting to can now benefit from more than 400 online courses which were launched yesterday.
The courses can be accessed by anyone with an Essex Libraries card and offer tuition via video with email support available from tutors.
Those wanting to learn a language can pick from 80 different dialects from beginner to advanced level.
Other courses available include thory test practise for car and HGV licences, personal budgeting advice and dog training.
All course are free and can be accessed at www.essex.gov.uk/librarylearning
