A children’s charity has confirmed Max Clifford has been dropped as patron.
The trustees of the Rhys Daniels Trust removed the public relations guru from his position as vice patron with effect from April 28.
Clifford was convicted of eight counts of indecent assaults, four of which were on a 15-year-old, and sentenced to eight years in prison on Friday.
The trust will hold its annual five-mile fun run through Epping Forest beginning at Epping Sports Centre in Hemnall Street, Epping on Sunday at 11am.
