Volunteers gave around 7,500 new trees the best start to their life with weeding and mulching in a recreation ground.
Around 150 people, including local groups and volunteers, had helped to plant the trees in March in Broadmead Recreation Ground, in Navestock Crescent, Woodford Green.
Charity Trees for Cities funded the planting which plans to turn the ground into a man made wood.
