A police officer has been discharged from hospital after being injured during a collision with a motorbike.

Redbridge police have confirmed he may be out of work for up to two months following the incident in Charlgrove Crescent in Ilford on May 4.

James Howsen, 23, of no fixed address, will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on May 19 accused of greivous bodily harm, dangerous driving and driving without insurance or a valid licence.
