A month-long town festival will host two concerts over its second weekend culminating in a live rock performance.

A bake-off competition will kick-off the weekend’s festivities at 10.30am on Saturday followed by a Green Fair, promoting environmentally friendly living and selling the award winning cakes at 11am at St Mary’s, Loughton High Road.

At 7.30pm, at the same venue, The Epping Forest Band will take to the stage playing a programme of both traditional and popular music and tickets will be sold on the door for £8.

The weekend will closes with an evening of music at the Loughton Club, Station Road, Loughton from 6.45pm.

Avalanche will headline the gig which will also see Trevor Attwater, Richard Clark, Thomas Hanava, Paul Jeffries, Mathew Shepherd perform and tickets cost £3 on the door.
