Police in Waltham Forest have released a CCTV image of a suspected meat thief. 

Suspect 147542 is wanted in connection with a theft at the Co Operative food store in Wood Street, Walthamstow, on April 26 at 5:45pm.

The man, described as wearing a distinctive orange and blue jacket during the incident, is accused of stealing a 10 pack of sirloin steak valued at £38.00. 

The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
