No further action will be taken against a man arrested on suspicion of burglary near where a man died.

The 51-year-old was held in Mason Way, Waltham Abbey, on March 5.

Stephen Pope, 35, of Waltham Abbey, died in an alleyway near the scene between Mason Way and Honey Lane.

It is believed he was fatally injured by a concrete pillar while leaving a property.

Albert Brinkley, of no fixed address, was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on March 26 after pleading guilty to the burglary.
