A court has issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of cultivating cannabis.

Ben Jackson, of Bluehouse Road in Chingford, is charged with producing a controlled Class B drug and failing to report back to police.

The 23-year-old was due to enter a plea for both charges at Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday, but failed to appear.

On May 13 last year, Jackson was arrested in Clacton, Essex, after police seized 53 Cannabis plants from a residential address.

Following his arrest and release on police bail, he was due to report back to Clacton police in August but failed to appear.
