A man has pleaded guilty to attempting to break into a supermarket with a brick in the early hours of the morning.
William Webb, of no fixed abode, was spotted picking up a brick and trying to gain access to Tesco in High Street, Wanstead, at 3.24am on May 7.
The 34-year-old admitted the offence at Barkingside Magistrates' Court the next day and has been remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court for sentencing on May 29.
