Two pupils who won a competition to create a shopping bag design will help re-open a store after a refurbishment.

Bags carrying designs by Tharanki Rajayakulasingam, eight, and Priya Aley, nine, at Oakdale Junior School in Oakdale Road, South Woodford, will be handed out at the event.

They will cut the ribbon at Sainsbury’s in George Lane, South Woodford, next Wednesday along with Iris Chapman, who has worked at the store since it opened in 1982.
