A pensioner is due in court today after being charged with two counts of sexual assault.

Seventy-seven-year-old Resham Singh of Acacia Road in Walthamstow is accused of touching a woman over the age of 16 in a sexual way.

The alleged offences are said to have taken place in January 2014 and between 2006 and 2007.

Mr Singh will appear at Thames Magistrates Court today.
