A restaurant has withdrawn its application to sell alcohol and play music until 2.30am at weekends.
Despite multiple noise complaints to the council the Torino Bar and Italian Restaurant in St James Street, Walthamstow was hoping to extend its licence at a hearing in the Town Hall on Tuesday.
However, the owner of the business, formerly Cassanova Bar, which is currently allowed to stay open until midnight withdrew the application the day before.
Waltham Forest Council had received repeated complaints about noise from the venue in the past.
