Three people accused of attacking a bin man are due to stand trial today.
Chevanease Clark, 19, and Aaron Byron, 29, of Kinsfaun Road in Ilford, and Ramael Laird, 25, of Kingthornes Road in Ilford, all deny assaulting 42-year-old Leo Lowe in Lyndhurst Road, Highams Park, on April 19 of last year.
They are all accused of assault by beating and using threatening and abusive language with intent to cause fear.
Police were alerted when Mr Lowe flagged down a patrol car in nearby Evanston Road and reported being attacked with a metal pole and a dog chain.
All three defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges on August 21.
They were all bailed to appear at Stratford Magistrates Court today.
