A man has been robbed of a large sum of cash in a post office.

The incident happened at Loughton post office, in High Road, shortly before 3.30pm on April 28.

Police report that a young man stood behind the victim in the queue and snatched his bag containing the cash, before running off.

Anyone with information can contact Detective Constable Paul Walker at Loughton police station on 101.
