Rumours of Starbucks becoming the third big coffee chain in High Street, Epping, have been confirmed.
The American company, which refused to comment on the move in February, will join Cafe Nero and Costa in September after confirming it would take over the former Wimpy premises.
A spokeswoman for the company said: “We can confirm a new Starbucks store will open at 199 Epping High Street in Essex, in September.
“This store will create around 10 jobs for the local area and will bring great coffee and exciting employment opportunities to Epping.”
The store will also open in close proximity to Epping Bakery and Epping Tea Rooms in High Street and Dada café in Station Road.
