Detectives investigating the murder of a Leyton man in Dagenham have made a further arrest.
Ashley Latty, 25, was found by police with stab wounds following an altercation between two groups outside The Beaver Centre in Selinas Lane, Dagenham, on May 18.
He was taken to an east London hospital but was pronounced dead at 7:15am.
Police have so far arrested six people in connection with the fatal stabbing, including two men who have since been charged with murder.
A 22 year-old man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed to a date in late June.
Nana Oppong, 33, of no fixed abode, and Adam Penny, 23, of Whitechapel, were arrested on suspicion of murder along with a 29-year-old man when their homes were raided on May 19.
Oppong and Penny appeared at the Old Bailey on May 22 and have been remanded in custody to enter a plea on August 6.
The 29-year-old and two other men aged 38 and 31 have all been bailed pending further enquiries until early July.
