Police have launched an investigation after three bicycles were stolen from a school.

The bikes were taken last week from Wanstead High School in Redbridge Lane West, Wanstead, and no arrests have yet been made.

The school is currently on their half-term break and police are planning to patrol the area from next week.

Sergeant Andy Young, of Redbridge Safer Transport Team, said: "Redbridge Safer Transport Team is investigating three bicycle thefts from a school in Redbridge.

“Enquiries are ongoing to identify and arrest offenders and reassurance patrols will be conducted when pupils return from half term next week."
