A charity which helps the elderly in Waltham Forest is moving.

The borough’s Age UK will close next month for seven days as it relocates from its current location at the Peterhouse Community Centre in Walthamstow to Hall Lane in Chingford.

Officers based in Walthamstow will move out on June 9.

A week later on June 16 the Waltham Forest Resource Hub will open.

The news comes just weeks after it was announced that the crisis prevention service has been axed and members of staff made redundant.
