The owner of a Grade II listed restaurant has applied to extend its opening hours until 1.15am on Friday and Saturday.

Antony Mark Foster wants to extend the licence at The Manor House in High Street, Wanstead, from 11pm.

If granted, the venue will be able to sell alcohol until 12.30am and play recorded music until 11.30pm.

Redbridge council's licensing sub-committee will decide on the application on Tuesday.

The 17th century building previously housed a Conservative club and the Allied Irish Bank.
