Police in Waltham Forest have released a CCTV image of a suspected gum thief.

Suspect 148330 is wanted in connection with theft at a store in Forest Road, Walthamstow, on April 15 at 8:25pm. 

He is accused of stealing seven boxes of chewing gum with a retail value of £70 from the shop counter whilst a staff member was away from the till. 

Police are yet to reveal the name of the store along Forest Road.  

The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
