An expert naturalist in Redbridge hosted a free wildflower walk on Saturday.
Volunteer Brian Ecott led the group of 30 visitors around Ray Park and a section of the River Roding in Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green on Saturday.
During the walk in which adults and children were given identification sheets, some of wildflowers named included the Ragged Robin, the common Field Speedwell native to Eurasia and Red and White Campions.
The event was organised and overseen by rangers from Redbridge Council's Nature Conservation Team, based at James Leal Centre in Ray Park.
