An arrest warrant has been issued for two men who failed to pay a fine after being caught hitting bottles and cans into a lake with golf clubs.
Karol Adam Federowicz and Miroslaw Potrzyszcz were spotted by community police officers standing near a large pile of rubbish at Alexandra Lake on Wanstead Flats.
The pair were seen using golf clubs to hit beer cans and glass bottles into the lake on January 6 and issued fixed penalty notices.
Federowicz, Bignold Road in Forest Gate, and Potrzyszcz, Plashet Road in Upton Park, both failed to pay the fine within 28 days and are now being sought by police.
Ali Hassan, of London Road, Romford, was fined £250 at Barkingside Magistrates Court on May 16 for dumping rubbish near Wanstead Flats in December of last year.
Hassan was spotted throwing bags of garden waste onto the pavement from the boot of his car.
The fine remains unpaid.
